Project narrative

On November 2, 2022, the Chinese government donated USD 200,000 to Suriname's government. The donation will support the country's health system during the Covid-19 pandemic. Chinese Ambassador to Suriname Han Jing and Surinamese Foreign Minister Ramdin signed the handover certificate on behalf of the two governments respectively, and Surinamese Minister of Health Lamartine attended the ceremony.
