On May 6, 2022, the Chinese Ambassador to South Africa donated 200,000 Rand to Department of Basic Education in South Africa for disaster relief in KNZ Province. Minister Angie Motshekga and the Ambassador point out that the donation is used to support flood-hit primary schools in KNZ Province.
