Project narrative

On November 12th, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan held the Embassy Scholarship Awarding Ceremony. The scholarship was established and awarded to Uzbek students studying Chinese. A total of sixty-five students were awarded the scholarship, from various educational institutions such as Tashkent State University of the East, Uzbek State University of World Languages, Uzbek University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages, Tashkent No. 59 Middle School, Chinese National Culture Center, etc. The Embassy Scholarship was awarded again in 2023 (see Record ID#101253). The monetary value of the scholarships are unknown.
