Project narrative

On November 25, 2023, the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan held the Embassy Scholarship Awarding Ceremony. The scholarship was established in 2022 and is awarded to Uzbek students studying Chinese (see record ID#101252). A total of eighty students were awarded the scholarship, from various educational institutions such as Khan State Institute of Foreign Languages, Samarkand International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Middle School Affiliated to Nazami Normal University, Tashkent No. 59 Middle School, and Chinese Ethnic Culture Center, attended the event. A total of 17 students from SamSIFL and the Confucius Institute received the scholarship. The monetary value of the scholarships is unknown.
