Project narrative

In 2002, the Shinan District of Qingdao donated a statue of Confucius to Incheon Metropolitan City. The statue was for the Boundary Stairway between the 19th century Qing and Japanese Settlements in Incheon, South Korea. The statue was unveiled between September 12 and 22, 2002, and representatives from the Shinan District of Qingdao, China were in attendance.
