On December 15, 2022, Ambassador Fang Qiu attended the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship" award ceremony at Chaguanas City Hall and delivered a speech. Chaguanas Mayor Mohamed, CEO Lakan, Deputy Mayor Ramlogan, all city councilors, relevant award-winning students and principals of their schools, teacher and student representatives, local friendly people, etc. attended.
