Project narrative

On December 21, 2022, Ambassador Fang Qiu to Trinidad and Tobago was invited to attend the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship" award ceremony in Arima City and delivered a speech. More than 70 people including Arima Mayor Casimir, Senator Li Xing, all city councilors, relevant award-winning students, principals of their schools, teacher and student representatives, and local friendly people attended the event. Li Xing said that since this year, the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship" project has benefited primary and secondary students in five major cities in Trinidad and Tobago. It has been warmly welcomed and highly appreciated by the local people and has become a new highlight in the development of friendly relations between Trinidad and Tobago.
