Project narrative

In late February 2020, Shanghai donated 100,000 medical masks and 400,000 disposable masks to the city of Daegu, North Gyeongsang Province (Gyeongbuk), the city of Busan, and Jeonbuk State (North Jeolla Province) in South Korea. The masks arrived in South Korea by March 4, 2020, and were distributed to the various recipients by the Korean Red Cross. The estimated value of the donation is USD 350000. The distribution of the masks among the recipients is unknown.
