Project narrative

In March 2020, the Wuxi Municipal Government donated 450,000 masks and 3,000 protective suits to SK Hynix in South Korea. The supplies were delivered to SK Hynix headquarters on March 17, 2020. SK Hynix provided 100,000 items from the donation to the Icheon City Government and another 100,000 items to Cheongju. The remaining items for the donation were used by SK Hynix and its partner companies. The estimated value for the total donation from Wuxi is USD 317,400. 3,000 additional pieces of protective clothing were included in the initial donation from Wuxi City, but these were directed towards the recipient company's plant in Wuxi, China.
