Project narrative

On March 4, 2020, the Wendeng District of Weihai City pledged a mask donation to Cheonan City in South Korea. On March 11, 2020, Wendeng District's donation of 32,500 masks arrived in Cheonan City. The city announced plans to send a thank you letter to Wendeng following the donation. The masks are expected to be allocated towards facilities for vulnerable populations and those living in the vicinity of treatment centers.
