Project narrative

On April 28, 2022, the Chinese Embassy donated medical equipment to the 250-bed hospital in Cox’s Bazar, a city in Bangladesh. The equipment included biochemical analyzers, dental operating chairs, phototherapy machines, and centrifuges. The purpose of the donation was to improve the hospital’s medical capabilities. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. China’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, Li Jiming, attended the ceremony and handed over the supplies to the Dean of Cox’s Bazar Medical College, who accepted the donation on behalf of the hospital. A member of Bangladesh Parliament, the Deputy Commissioner of Cox's Bazar Region, and the Commissioner for Refugees and Repatriation of Bangladesh also attended the ceremony.
