Full Description

Project narrative

On December 16, 2010, a syndicate of 10 banks — including the Bank of Communications (BoComm) — entered into ¥32.0 billion JPY syndicated revolving loan agreement with ORIX Corporation — a Japanese financial services company — for general corporate purposes. This loan carried a maturity period of one year. The Tokyo Branch of BNP Paribas S.A. served as sole bookrunner. ING Bank N.V. joined in syndication as a mandated lead arranger. Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. and Natixis joined in syndication as lead arrangers. BoComm, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ), Bank of Taiwan, Mega International Commercial Bank, National Australia Bank (NAB), and State Bank of India (SBI) joined in syndication at lower tiers.

1. The individual contributions of the 10 lenders to this ¥32.0 billion JPY syndicated loan are unknown. For the time being, AidData has estimated BoComm's contribution by assuming that each contributed equally (¥3,200,000,000 JPY) to the loan syndicate.
