Project narrative
The Confucius Classroom at Salzmannschule in Schnepfenthal was established on October 8, 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Salzmannschule in Schnepfenthal with a grant. The agreement for the establishment of the Confucius Classroom was signed on August 21, 2011. The Confucius Classroom was the third Confucius Classroom to be established in Germany.
