Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Hanhua Chinesich-Schule was established on July 12, 2017. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Hanhua Chinesich-Schule (汉华中文学; Hanhua Chinese School) with a grant. Nanjing Houbiaoying Primary School (南京市后标营小学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. Located in Hamburg, Germany, Hanhua Chinesich-Schule is a pilot institution of Chinese language education accredited by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council (OCAO). The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on February 17, 2019.
