Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Kolleg St. Blasien was established on January 20, 2017. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Kolleg St. Blasien (圣布拉欣高级文理中学) with a grant. Kolleg St. Blasien is a state-recognized high school with boarding school in the southern Black Forest. In October 2016, the Confucius Classroom was set up. It was affiliated with and managed by the Confucius Institute at the University of Freiburg. The Confucius Institute supported Chinese lessons with teachers, teaching materials, and cultural events. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44204.
