Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Saint Joseph School was established on February 24, 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Saint Joseph School with a grant. Tianjin Foreign Studies University 2nd Affiliated School/Tianjin No.41 High School (中国天津外国语大学附属第二外国语学校暨41中学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#101484. The agreement to set up the Confucius Classroom was signed on October 24, 2010, and it began operating on February 1, 2011.
