Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Nouvelles d'Europe was established in January 2009. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Nouvelles d’Europe (欧洲时报) with a grant. Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council (国侨办) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was the first Confucius Classroom to be established in France.
