Hanban provides a grant for the establishment of the Confucius Classroom at CEIP Nuestra Señora de la Capilla Primary School

Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at CEIP Nuestra Señora de la Capilla Primary School was established on April 10, 2015. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing CEIP Nuestra Señora de la Capilla Primary School with a grant. Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education (江苏省教育厅) was the first partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. On April 10, 2015, the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) and the Adalusia’s Regional Ministry of Education (Consejería de Educación de la Junta de Andalucía; 安达卢西亚教育庁) signed an agreement to establish the eight Confucius Classrooms. On October 25, 2018, the Adalusia’s Regional Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, the cooperating partner, signed a supplementary implementation agreement. On December 11, 2020, Changzhou University (常州大学) became the partner university.
