The La Salle Girona Confucius Classroom was established on April 10, 2019. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing La Salle Girona secondary school with a grant. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44272. The Confucius Institute was the first Confucius Classroom ever established in Catalonia region in Spain.
