Project narrative

On March 10, 2022, the Chinese ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, Zhang Yanling, handed over a batch of 140 sewing machines worth RMB 200,000 donated by the All-China Women's Federation to Antigua and Barbuda. The donation was intended to promote women's empowerment and economic independence. At the ceremony, Ambassador Zhang signed the handover certificate with Antigua and Barbuda's Minister of Housing, Land, and Urban Renewal Maria Browne. Officials from the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Social Transformation were also present.
