Project narrative

On February 25, 2022, the Chinese ambassador to Seychelles donated seven dance mats to the Seychelles Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts in handover ceremony at the International Conference Centre. The dance mats measured 1.8 meters wide and 20 meters long, and would be used by young dancers in their training and performance programs. The Secretary General of the Institute, David André, received the mats from the Ambassador in the presence of the Principle Secretary for Culture, Cecile Kalebi, and other staff of the Institute.
