Project narrative

On January 24 2022, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce tasked the China Construction Group to construct 200 sets of integrated houses for Tonga as part of the Chinese response to the natural disasters that had occurred in Tonga a few days prior. On January 26th, the constructed houses arrived in the port of Guangzhou for assembly and delivery. These houses were then transported to Tonga on two naval ships as part of another donation recorded in Record ID#101642. The donation arrived in Tonga on February 15.
