Full Description

Project narrative

In 2022, China handed over remote education supplies such as computers and projectors to schools in Laos (Record ID#90418). China Ministry of Commerce also committed to provide technical assistance to support remote education in the country. The technical assistance portion of the project is carried out by Shanghai Century Publishing Company. The project aims to set up 20 remote-learning centers (19 centers for remote learning and 1 resource center). The company also helps Laos develop the standards for information technology and helps the country develop text books. On March 23, 2023, the project began implementation and is planned to complete by September 2025.
