Project narrative

On June 12, 2022, Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian and the Women's Group of the Chinese Embassy participated in a charity sale organized by the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs and the International Bazaar Foundation (IBF) and donated the proceeds they received. The items they sold represented Chinese culture and included silk fans, silk scarves, silk handbags, shawls and other traditional Chinese crafts. They also sold mellow Chinese rice wine and white wine, panda dolls, stationery sets, etc. Additionally, during the charity sale, Ambassador Huang donated money to the IBF on behalf of the embassy to support poor families and charitable welfare institutions in the Philippines. The donation and sales proceeds value is unknown.
