Project narrative

On September 8, 2022, Chen Daojiang, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Jamaica, presented five Northern Caribbean University (NCU) students with the Chinese Ambassador’s Scholarship. The scholarships were funded by the Chinese Embassy in Jamaica and valued at JMD 1.1 million. Since 2019, the Chinese Embassy in Jamaica has worked with Northern Caribbean University to implement the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship" project.
