Project narrative

In September 2022, as part of the "For A Better Future" initiative (see Record ID#101716), Zijin Mining Group signed an agreement with the Bor state government and eleven high schools and vocational schools to establish scholarships. The scholarship program will last eight years, with 100 students receiving $700 each year, making the total commitment $560,000. Bor State is the site of Serbia Zijin Bor Copper, a copper mining and smelting site operated by Zijin Mining Group.
