On January 27, 2021, the National Health Commission of China donated medical equipment to the Government of Malta. A ceremony for the donation was held the same day at Our Lady’s Hospital with Yu Dunhai, Chinese Ambassador to Malta, in attendance. The type and quantity of items donated is unknown.
