In 2022, the Chinese Government agreed to provide a grant worth $2,849,988.38 to the Government of Papua New Guinea for the Kaugel-Kisenpoi Road Project. The purpose of the project is to upgrade a road that runs between Kaugel and the town of Kisenpoi.
