Project narrative

On June 7, 2022, the Suzhou University of Science and Technology hosted the online opening ceremony of the "Jamaica Water Supply and Drainage Technology Training Course" sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. Fan Jianghong, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Jamaica, representatives from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce, leaders of Suzhou University of Science and Technology, school leaders, and Jamaican trainees attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The training course will last for 20 days from June 7 to June 27. The Jamaican trainees come from the Jamaican Ministry of Economic Growth and Employment, the Jamaican National Water Commission, the Jamaican Water Resources Management Bureau, the Jamaican Environment and Planning Department among other institutions.
