Project narrative

In 2005, the Chinese government sent a medical aid team to the Mediterranean Regional Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine (MRCTCM) in Malta, a medical institution jointly established by the Chinese Government and the Government of Malta. This was the seventh medical team sent to Malta and the aid was provided in accordance with a previous June 2002 agreement between the Chinese Government and the Government of Malta (Record ID#101845). The 2005 medical aid team's mission lasted until 2007 and included responsibilities such as sharing information about Chinese medicine culture and treating patients using traditional Chinese medicine.
