Project narrative

In 2011, the Chinese government sent a medical aid team to the Mediterranean Regional Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine (MRCTCM) in Malta, a medical institution jointly established by the Chinese Government and the Government of Malta. On August 21, 2011, a welcome reception was held for the team in Malta. This was the tenth medical team sent to Malta and the aid was provided in accordance with a previous June 2002 agreement between the Chinese Government and the Government of Malta (Record ID#101845). The 2011 medical aid team's mission lasted until 2013. The President of Malta visited MRCTCM on July 23, 2013 when the medical aid team finished the mission.
