Project narrative

In 2015, the Chinese government sent a medical aid team to the Mediterranean Regional Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine (MRCTCM) in Malta, a medical institution jointly established by the Chinese Government and the Government of Malta. The medical team was assembled by the Nantong Municipal Health Bureau and Yancheng Health Vocational and Technical College. An opening ceremony for the team was held in Jiangsu on October 13, 2014. This was the 12th medical team sent to Malta and the aid was provided in accordance with a previous June 2002 agreement between the Chinese Government and the Government of Malta (Record ID#101845). The 2015 medical aid team's mission lasted until 2017.
