Project narrative

In 2018, the Chinese government sent a medical aid team to the Mediterranean Regional Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine (MRCTCM) in Malta, a medical institution jointly established by the Chinese Government and the Government of Malta. The team arrived in Malta on June 21, 2018. It began its mission on June 24, 2018 when a handover ceremony was held, and the mission ended on July 6, 2019 with a departure ceremony. The team left Malta on July 11, 2019. This was the 14th medical team sent to Malta and the aid was provided in accordance with a previous June 2002 agreement between the Chinese Government and the Government of Malta (Record ID#101845).
