On or around March 18, 2020, Shenzhen Municipal Government donated surgical masks and medical supplies to the City of Bern in Switzerland. This donation was part of 270,000 surgical masks and supplies donated to Bern and seven other sister cities. The number of surgical masks donated specifically to Bern is unknown.
