Project narrative

On September 26, 2022, the All-China Women’s Federation donated anti-epidemic medical supplies to several women's health organizations in the Bahamas during the China-Bahamas Video Dialogue on Promoting Women's Comprehensive Development. Huang Xiaowei, Vice Chairman of the All-China Women's Federation, and Mrs. Ann Marie Davis, of the Office of the Spouse of the Prime Minister, jointly signed a handover receipt. The content and monetary value of the medical supplies donation is unknown. On October 26, 2022, the official handover ceremony for the medical supplies took place at the Chinese Embassy. Public Hospitals Authority, Straw Inc., Bahamas Crisis Centre, and the Bahamas Children’s Emergency Hostel attended the ceremony. During the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador to the Bahamas Dai Qingli also presented a cheque to the Bahamas Crisis Centre.
