Project narrative

On May 20, 2020, Shanghai Library donated books to Cork City Library as part of the inauguration of a new "Window of Shanghai" in Cork, Ireland. The books were handed over on the same date at an opening ceremony for the "Window of Shanghai." Officials from both China and Ireland were in attendance. This followed the official signing of a sister-city agreement between Cork City and Shanghai on May 19, 2020.
