Project narrative

Circa May 5, 2020, the Hangzhou Municipal Government donated 10,000 face masks to Limerick City and County Council in Ireland. The donated items were delivered to Council Headquarters in Merchant’s Quay and were intended to help support Limerick during the COVID-19 pandemic. The masks were delivered as of May 5, 2020, and were later distributed to University Hospital Limerick. The value of the donation cannot be estimated, as it is unclear whether the donation included surgical masks or N95 masks.
