In June 2020, Changsha City donated 20,000 masks to Dublin, Ireland. The Chinese Embassy in Ireland handed over the mask donation to Dublin City Council on June 2, 2020. The Lord Mayor of Dublin posted a note of thanks on Twitter following the donation. The value of the donation cannot be estimated, as it is unclear whether the donation included surgical masks or N95 masks.
