Project narrative

On December 15, 2022, the Chinese agriculture expert group in Burundi held a donation ceremony for ten tons of the first batch of Chinese high-quality hybrid rice seeds. These seeds were successfully cultivated locally by the expert group and given to the local agricultural cooperative. The ceremony took place at at the Chinese-built Agricultural Demonstration Center in Burundi. The rice was given to help improve food security.
