Project narrative

On March 21, 2023, Chinese Ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe Xu Yingzhen attended the unveiling ceremony for a new classroom sponsored by the Chinese Embassy at the Dona Maria Jesus Primary School in Sao Tome and Principe. The Chinese Embassy sponsored this new classroom to reduce the student-to-teacher ratio which negatively impacts the success of schools in Sao Tome and Principe.
