Project narrative

On August 31 2022, the opening ceremony was held for the Overseas Training Course on Processing and Preservation Technology of Agricultural Products in Sao Tome and Principe. This training course was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by China Food Fermentation Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd. The training content covers coffee bean processing, roasting, and crushing technology, cassava planting and processing technology, post-harvest storage, transportation, circulation and processing of vegetables, and aquatic product processing and preservation technology. The ceremony took place at the Sao Tome and Principe Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Technology Training Center. More than 50 people attended the course. This course is part of the implementation of the China-Africa "Poverty Reduction Hewlett-Farm Project" (减贫惠农工程) and the "Capacity Building Project" (能力建设工程).
