Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar was established in 2016. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar with a grant. Communication University of China (中国传媒大学) and Fujian Tong'an No. 1 Middle School were the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on April 7, 2017 and it was the 9th Confucius Classroom to be opened in the Netherlands. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44249.
