Project narrative

On August 25, 2022, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China donated to the government of Pakistan through the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association to support reconstruction efforts following severe flooding in the country. This donation was part of a larger effort by the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association (APCEA) to raise funds for the Prime Minister's Flood Relief Fund. In total, APCEA raised PKR 15,508,420 from various state-owned and private-sector entities operating in Pakistan (Umbrella Record ID#102726). The funds were handed over to the Pakistani National Disaster Management Authority during a handover ceremony on August 25, 2022.
