Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Clongowes Wood College SJ was established in 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Clongowes Wood College SJ with a grant. Renmin University of China (中国人民大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on January 29, 2011. The original Confucius Institute project is tracked under Record ID#44181.
