Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Blackrock College was established in 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Blackrock College with a grant. Renmin University of China (中国人民大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on January 29, 2011.
