The Confucius Classroom at Jesus & Mary College was established in 2014. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Jesus and Mary College—Our Lady’s Grove, with a grant. Renmin University of China (中国人民大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on 2014.
