Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

By April 8, 2022, a Chinese oral health team, part of the 17th medical team, had provided practical training to more than 20 students studying oral and dental health at the Victor Sá Machado Institute (o Instituto Victor Sá Machado). These students will be licensed to practice oral and dental health within the next four years. At least two of the students travelled to China with a patient who needed intervention because her tooth had been destroyed by cavities and needed to be extracted. During the same trip, the Chinese health professionals gave check-ups to people at the Polyclinic Center of Sao Tome (o Centro Policlínico de São Tomé), which is represented by Record ID#102548.
