Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Falkenbergs Gymnasieskola was established on December 2, 2011. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Falkenbergs Gymnasieskola with a grant. Shijiazhuang Foreign Languages School (石家庄外国语学校) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on March 23, 2012. This was the second Confucius Classroom to be established in Sweden. It was subsequently closed on April 23, 2020.
