Project narrative

The Confucius Classroom at Vienna Chinese School was established on December 12, 2007. The Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) awarded the Confucius Classroom status in recognition of the school's achievements in Chinese language and culture education, providing Chinese Language School of Vienna (维也纳中文学校) with a grant. Huaqiao University (华侨大学) was the partner Chinese institution for this Confucius Classroom. The Confucius Classroom was officially opened on February 9, 2008. The classroom began operations on December 1, 2009.
