Project narrative

On August 2, 2022, the Chinese Embassy in Togo and the Togolese Ministry of Health, Public Hygiene, and Universal Access to Health Care jointly organized a ceremony for the handover of China-aided emergency medical materials to Togo. The donation included 10 mobile radiodiagnostic devices. The monetary value of this donation was not specified. Based on photos, the donation may have also included examination equipment as well as other anti-epidemic materials. Figures who were present at the ceremony included Chinese Ambassador Chao Weidong, Togolese Minister of Health Prof. Moustafa Mijiyawa, and representatives from the 25th Chinese medical team to Togo.
